後方に聳え立つ樹齢200年以上の超高木（約40ｍ）の一部（正面右幹）が枯れ始めていたが、空師の特殊な木登り技術（ロープを使うアーボリスト方式）を駆使した見事な樹上作業によって、樹木の維持・管理のための抜本的治療が加えられた。
